Sr. Kathleen served in the transportation department at the Motherhouse, Sinsinawa, WI; as chaplain at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, and St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay, WI; and as pastoral minister at St. Clement Parish, Sheboygan, WI, and St. Jerome Parish, Columbus, WI. Sister Delphine Croft, OP (Sister Marie Michael) of the Dominican Sisters of Hope, died Jan 21, 2022 in Hackensack Meridian Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at Manor by the Sea in Ocean Grove, NJ. Sister Mary Lorraine Beckes, OP died April 8, 2016 in the Saint Catherine Healthcare Facility, Caldwell, New Jersey. She supported parishes by developing programs that helped people grow in their faith. Sister Maureen Cooper, OP of the Dominican Sisters of Hope, died on May 8th in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, New Jersey. She also served as a Governing Board Member. Of course, Sr. Denises talents were obvious to her Congregation, and she was elected to the Elms House Council as well as the Board of Elections. She was curious and loved Scripture, reading, and being with her family. Her deep knowledge and empathy made her suited for many ministries, but education was a favorite. Dominican Sister of Peace Joan Monica (Margaret Winifred) McGuire, OP (90), died on November 21, 2022, at the Sansbury Care Center in St. Catharine, KY. Sr. Joan was one of six children born to Emma Goedicko and Joseph McGuire in Cedar Rapids, Nebraska.
